Sinks come in many sizes, but at Leiken, we believe in providing sinks that are at least 70 cm wide. This ensures ample space to comfortably handle all kitchen challenges, from washing to food prep. Enter the Owen Tray Theory: a sink should be large enough to hold a full kitchen accessory, like an oven tray, comfortably. This simple yet vital rule ensures that your sink is functional, no matter the task.
For kitchens that only accommodate one sink,
the 70 cm width is ideal. However, when space permits, we recommend dividing the kitchen into two areas:
Washing Area: A sink of at least 70 cm for maximum efficiency.
Food Preparation Area: A compact 40-50 cm sink,
optimizing counter space and reducing clutter.

At Leiken, radius zero sinks are never part of our offering. While they may appear aesthetically pleasing, zero-radius corners tend to trap bacteria and dirt, creating hygiene concerns. We prefer rounded corners, which are far easier to clean and maintain. Only embedded sinks are exceptions, where we apply specialized technology to offer a radius zero design without compromising hygiene.
