VILA NOVA DE CERVEIRA
Located in the village of Covas, within the historic municipality of Vila Nova de Cerveira, this home was created through the restoration of a former rural dwelling, transformed into a contemporary family retreat. Surrounded by an unspoiled natural landscape, where forests, wildlife and silence define the rhythm of everyday life, the project offers an escape from the city and a renewed connection with nature. The architecture preserves the timeless character of the original building, while the interiors create a seamless dialogue between comfort, conviviality and the surrounding environment.
At the heart of the social area, the open-plan kitchen flows naturally into the living space, encouraging everyday interaction and maintaining a strong visual connection with the garden through expansive glazed openings. The Leiken Collection LIGNA model combines matte lacquered doors in Blu Polvere with a walnut veneer island, creating a sophisticated balance between colour and materiality. ARPA brushed brass handles, seamlessly integrated Miele appliances and Atlas Plan Black Atlantis Silk worktops reinforce the contemporary elegance of the composition, enhanced by warm and intimate 3000K lighting.
