VALCUCINE’S HIGHLIGHTS AT MILAN DESIGN WEEK 2025
Leiken met with Daniele Prosdocimo, Marketing Manager at Valcucine, to discover the latest innovations from the iconic Italian kitchen brand.

Each year, Milan Design Week becomes an international crossroads where creativity, technology and design culture converge. For Leiken, being there means not just observing what’s new, but fully experiencing it—touching, exploring, and understanding.
With this spirit, we visited the exhibition space of our partner Valcucine in the Brera district, where we had the pleasure of sitting down with Daniele Prosdocimo, Marketing Manager of the renowned Italian brand that has been redefining kitchen excellence for over forty years.
From this informal conversation came a closer look at the main innovations Valcucine presented during Fuorisalone 2025.
What is the most important innovation you presented at Milan Design Week?
“Without a doubt, V-Motion 2.0—the evolution of our automatic opening system. Thanks to our collaboration with Nice, the kitchen now becomes a fully connected ecosystem. Compared to the previous version, which was based solely on gesture recognition, we now offer four interaction modes: gesture, remote control, app, and voice commands.”
This technology is already integrated into the Logica Celata and Air Logica models and introduces a new way of experiencing the kitchen: fluid, natural, and customisable. With V-Motion 2.0, material possibilities expand as well: not only glass, but also Tech Ceramics, MDi, premium metals, and stainless steel.
The integration of Nice technology into Valcucine products stems from a group synergy: both companies are part of BeNice Holding, an organisation that promotes innovation and technological advancement to enhance quality of life in the home.
This convergence of design, ergonomics and intelligent technology reflects a shared vision: to create spaces that blend aesthetics, functionality and sustainability—true “Connected Scenarios.”
We noticed a beautiful pattern on the display cabinets—what is it?
“It’s one of the proposals we were particularly excited to present in Milan, and it’s drawing a lot of attention. It’s a printed glass finish that replicates the classic Vienna straw texture.
A decorative suggestion that recalls traditional craftsmanship, but reinterpreted through our contemporary materials. A visually light yet deeply evocative solution, one that merges beauty and substance, memory and design.”
About finishes, what can we suggest to our future clients?
“One of the most appreciated novelties is certainly the introduction of the Billiemi grey marble for kitchen countertops. It’s a Sicilian marble with a strong, historic character, yet perfectly compatible with our existing materials. Its dark grey base is marked by veins in hues of pink, clay, and ochre.”
“We’re talking about a natural stone that speaks of place and texture, capable of bringing depth and identity to any project.”
What emerged from our visit to the Valcucine space was not merely a product presentation, but a layered and coherent vision of contemporary living—one that Leiken is proud to bring to Portugal through Valcucine kitchens and the talent of our designers.
Our meeting with Daniele Prosdocimo confirmed how innovation, wellbeing and sustainability are fundamental pillars of Valcucine’s identity—values that Leiken shares and promotes every day.
At Milan Design Week, we found renewed confirmation of a kitchen philosophy that continues to evolve without ever losing its soul—and of a partnership, between Leiken and Valcucine, that looks to the future with intelligence and purpose.
